Support Mental Health Recovery Today
Our clubhouses provide a healing environment for those who struggle with severe mental illness. Help them find resources for recovery when you give. Enhance and expand our services to ensure everyone can thrive.
Someone who struggles with mental illness can feel isolated. But our clubhouses offer a supportive community where members and staff work together as colleagues. Through shared work and social activities, we help our members build skills, confidence, and relationships essential to recovery.
Take action today and give to provide more opportunities for our members to find employment, housing, education, and support services as they work toward independence and recovery. With your support, we can expand our reach and impact by donating to a clubhouse today.
Change Lives Today
Our clubhouses are more than just programs—they’re communities providing transformative hope and changing lives. Read these inspirational stories to experience the impact of your support.

Wichita Clubhouse Transforms Etta
Etta, a member of the Wichita Clubhouse since 1990, has been living with bipolar disorder and manic depression. After moving away from Wichita for 21 years, she returned just three years ago and learned she could reconnect with the clubhouse.
Through the clubhouse, Etta received a CAB scholarship, enabling her to go back to school and relicense herself as a CNA. Now, Etta works right across the street from her new home, a testament to the transformative power of the clubhouse’s support.
She feels incredibly blessed by the people who stand in the gap for her and others like her who are trying to reacclimate to society, providing the assistance and resources needed to rebuild their lives and pursue their goals.

Hutchinson Milestone Clubhouse Boosts Steve’s Confidence
Homeless for 10 months, Steve Roberts couldn’t afford continuous shelter despite having a small income. Discovering Milestone Clubhouse in June provided Steve with a place to go after leaving the homeless shelter, saving him from falling into trouble.
Within the clubhouse, Steve recovered a sense of identity and belonging within his community. Steve also received assistance to secure an apartment next to the clubhouse, and colleagues helped him move donated belongings into his new home.
Now, Steve is rebuilding his confidence and feeling like part of his community once more.

Newton Railway Clubhouse Renews Member
A Railway Clubhouse member once struggled with mental health challenges, poverty, and a sense of embarrassment that made it difficult to walk the streets with pride.
The member found hope in government programs that sponsored their recovery, guiding them step by step towards a brighter future and helping them overcome their fears and dependencies. Thanks to the support they received, the Railway member now leads a transformed life with a job, a home, and a renewed sense of pride and purpose.
Filled with gratitude and humility, they are determined to share their story and advocate for others still struggling. The Railway member knows that with proper funding and staffing, lives can be changed, just as theirs was transformed through compassion and support.

Avery’s Journey: Leading with Resilience
Avery embodies the heart of the Clubhouse Model. She joined Resilience Clubhouse as part of her transition plan while aging out of the foster care system. In the short time since Resilience Clubhouse opened, Avery has embraced every opportunity to grow both within and beyond our community.
She actively participates in all aspects of the work-ordered day and has become a passionate advocate for mental health. Avery joined staff and members from Resilience and five other Kansas Clubhouses at Mental Health Advocacy Day at the State Capitol, where she met with legislators to discuss mental health issues in our state. She eagerly shares her Clubhouse story whenever the opportunity arises.
As a leader at Resilience Clubhouse, Avery continues to inspire us, and we can’t wait to see what’s next in her recovery journey.
